Important Changes to Repairs Reporting Process

Leicester City Council is committed to improving the services it offers to tenants and leaseholders and as such we are announcing the full launch of the Housing Online website which allows you to view, report and make enquiries about repairs to your council home. Housing Online can be accessed 24/7 and allows you to view your rent account and access other Housing services.

Dates in the table below show when you should start using Housing Online to report new repairs (or ask for updates on existing repairs). The Housing Online website gives you direct access to information about your repairs and your rent account.

  • 2nd August 2022 - Requesting an update on an existing repair
  • 13th September 2022 - Reporting routine repairs to your property

Please note: If you need to report a critical emergency repair, you can continue to contact us via the usual phone number:
0116 454 1007 (option 1) Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm.
Outside of these hours please call 0116 254 9439.

Don't feel confident about using Housing Online?

If you don't feel confident using online services, the first thing to do would be to ask a family member or friend to help you. We also offer IT training courses. To enrol for one of these courses please go to: https://www.leicester.gov.uk/schools-and-learning/adult-skills-and-learning/
